The machine is suction power is quite good. The old range hood I used before was basically ineffective. After switching to this one, there is no more smoke when cooking—otherwise, the kitchen would get covered in oil stains.

I bought it and immediately tested it by stir-frying some chili peppers. There was basically no smell at all—unless you lean close to the wok to sniff it, you won it notice anything when standing upright. I made a point of coming back to give it a positive review!!
